In 2006, Yoon Eun Hye landed a pivotal role as Shin Chae Gyung in "The Princess Hours."

Fans of the popular manhwa or comic novel were initially opposed to her casting. But Eun Hye went on to win their hearts with her praiseworthy performance as the awkward yet lovable princess. The role made her into a household name.

Her follow-up drama "The Vineyard Man" did not do as well because of tough competition. Yet Eun Hye continued to reap accolades, winning best new actress in the KBS Drama Awards.

Yoon Eun Hye was also chosen to model for Cartier, Calvin Klein, Basic House, Joinus and Puma, among others.

After seeing her many fashion spreads and photos, I can say that Yoon Eun Hye's her most admirable quality as a model is her ability to interpret fashion using her primary profession as an actress.

Charity work

Yoon Eun Hye's beauty is not just external, though. The actress has assisted a number of charities and organizations.
She is a goodwill ambassador for the Pink Wings campaign of Vogue Girl Korea which strives to help young female teens who assume the role of the head of their household.
She also worked with visually impaired children to design a line of hand painted bags for ELBON.

For Basic House, Yoon Eun Hye partnered with Kim Hyun Joong for UNICEF's Never Alone Campaign with proceeds going to beneficiaries in Africa.
She also raised money for Hope Angel, a project under the Make-A-Wish Foundation and was part of the Pink Ribbon campaign for the Breast Cancer Association.

Yeon Woo Jin has been cast to be Kara Han Seung Yeon′s lover.

The actor′s agency Jump Entertainment revealed on July 12 that "Yeon Woo Jin confirmed he will be appearing in Secret Love and started shooting for the drama."

Secret Love is a short piece in which each Kara member stars in each of its five episodes. Director Kim Gyu Tae of That Winter, the Wind Blows will be heading the omnibus romantic drama.

The ′I Miss You′ episode, which stars Yeon Woo Jin and Han Seung Yeon, is about time travel. Yeon Woo Jin will appear as the warm photographer Jung Hyun Jin.

Yeon Woo Jin commented through his agency, "I′m happy I′ll be working with such a great director. I think it′ll be a great piece because the story is so interesting too. Han Seung Yeon, the staff and I are all having fun, so you can look forward to it."

I'm excited for this series. I love Yeon Woo Jin! He's a great actor..

RAIN finally free from the army

After 21 months of mandatory national service in the army, singer and actor Rain was discharged from the Defense Media Agency located in Yongsan, Seoul on the morning of July 10th.

Rain enlisted back in October 2011, and became an assistant instructor for Division 5 in the Recruit Training Center after completing his basic military training. He was then transferred to the Defense Media Agency in March 2012 where he served as a PR agent. Rain recently found himself embroiled in a scandal, after several of his celebrity soldiers were found to have behaved inappropriately while on duty. Thereafter, Rain decided to forgo his scheduled leave in a goodwill gesture directed towards the Defense Media Agency.

A spokesperson from the Defense Media Agency said earlier on July 5th, “Jung Ji Hoon had dinner with his fellow soldiers after performances, before heading back to his unit immediately. Drinking alcohol is only a way of encouragement, and has nothing to do with the prior scandal.”

Meanwhile, Rain will be resuming activities under CUBE Entertainment with whom he had signed a contract with earlier this year in May.

Rain will be back on showbiz. Let's all wait for his new career.
